The Pavement
Preservation process is all about pavement life cycle costs and
extending the life of the pavement at the least cost. Pavement
preservation, to be most cost effective, must be long lasting. Crafco
Pavement Preservation Products have long been recognized as some of
the best performing and long lasting products formulated. For over
thirty years Crafco products have been tested and evaluated in
laboratories, field projects and research studies. In these studies
a number of Crafco products have been verified for performance and
approved for use by independent laboratories and agencies.
To better define these performance achievements, Crafco has
developed the “Certified Product Performance” classification of its
products. To receive certification the products performance must
have been proven by a recognized, non-biased, independent entity
providing the required performance level and the documentation of
the performance.
Crafco’s Certified Product Performance verification begins with the
raw material and ends with finished product, certifying that the
sealant you buy from Crafco is of the highest quality and
consistency ensuring optimum performance. Verification begins at the
Refinery where a Statistical Process Control system aids operators
in meeting and sustaining the highest standards of product
consistency, repeatability, quality and stability. Crafco
Laboratories test all products continuously throughout production for
consistency and product performance specifications. Strict
Production controls are in place to assure that all design
specifications are adhered to consistently throughout the
manufacturing process. Performance complies with or exceeds State
and Federal specification standards at a competitive price and
finally the product is independently field and agency tested for
performance.
Certified Performance is awarded to the products that have achieved
the highest performance levels. Purchasing Crafco products with this certification the user of
the product is assured that they are using the best performing and
longest lasting product of its type for pavement preservation
