With the EZ Patcher, one operator can patch pavement from the safety of a skid steer cab.
The EZ Patcher can hold up to 65 gallons of mastic, which is kept warm with a 76,000 BTU propane burner. While it’s most efficient to feed the EZ Patcher from our larger Patcher II or Patcher 4 melters, the EZ Patcher can also melt small quantities of material itself.
Using the skid steer’s built-in hydraulic system, the EZ Patcher’s bidirectional hydraulic agitator can be switched between the mix-melt mode and dispensing mode. In mix-melt mode, the agitator automatically reverses to keep material at a uniform temperature and consistency. In dispensing mode, the agitator pushes material toward the remote-controlled gate and into the drag box. The operator controls the agitator mode and material gate from inside the cab.
With attachment points on both sides, the EZ Patcher can be used with the drag box to the operator’s left or right. There are also fork truck tubes built into the bottom of the EZ Patcher for moving the machine easily when it’s not attached to a skid steer.
We’ve thought of everything. The in-cab control system comes with a waterproof storage case and has magnetic attachment points keep wires away from snags and pinch points. The dispensing gate can close by pulling the manual release pin in case of hydraulic failure. The top of the EZ Patcher is built from anti-slip diamond tread steel plate for traction.
